Ericsson RedCap will efficiently enable new 5G use cases and enhance existing ones for an array of devices such as smart watches, other wearables, and industry sensors by lowering complexity and extending battery life.
With Ericsson RedCap, CSP can offer diverse 5G connectivity options towards different use case areas, for consumer and enterprise/industrial segments on both FDD and TDD bands.
For 5G Standalone networks powered by Ericsson, Ericsson RedCap is a software installation, meaning no additional hardware needed.
