Invitation Update: Ericsson media briefing in Gothenburg, Aug. 18

Carl-Henric Svanberg, President and CEO of Ericsson will be joined by guest speaker Howard Stringer, Chairman and CEO of Sony Corporation to talk about the relationship between Ericsson and Sony and their joint participation at the Volvo Ocean Race.

During the media briefing, held in conjunction with the christening of the Ericsson Racing Team boat, Henry Sténson, Head of Communications and Skipper Neal McDonald will speak on Ericsson Racing Team at the VOR 2005-06.

All the spokespersons will be on stage for a Q&A session.

The briefing will take place at Ericsson Gothenburg, Lindholmspiren 11, Gothenburg, Sweden. The briefing will start at 12.00 CET (registration will start from 11.30 a.m. CET).

Please join us after the briefing for a lunch buffet and tour of Ericsson Racing Team's Volvo Ocean 70 yacht. Neal McDonald and his crew will be available for one-on-one interviews after the briefing.
Christening ceremony
The same day Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden will perform the official christening of the Ericsson Racing Team's yacht at the Göteborg Opera. The official program starts at 19.15 (CET) and ends approximately 22.30.
