Trade policies

Trade policies aim to create predictable international trade rules for goods, services, IPR and data between countries and regions. Open, clear and predictable trade policies enable growing international trade and economic integration resulting in economic growth, more social and cultural integration, as well as transfer of technologies and innovations.

The WTO Information Technology Agreement (ITA), expanded in ITA-2, guarantees duty-free trade for IT & Telecom products which enables member countries to fully benefit from the productivity and innovation gains from IT & telecom products and services.
