We follow up and report on our progress in accordance with globally recognized standards. We utilize the UN Global Compact steps to support the global goals, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) to assess the environmental impact from our activities, and the UN Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights Reporting Framework to advance human rights in business.

Independent assurance

The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability Reporting Standards have been used in compiling the Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility 2017 report. And the report has been assured by PwC, an independent third party.

Materiality assessment

To define significant issues, we consider a wide range of economic, environmental and social impacts significant to our business. Hence, we report according to Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability Reporting Guidelines and AA1000 Assurance Standard.

2017 CDP report

An effective reductions strategy for carbon emissions is integral to our operations. Our efforts are disclosed to CDP, formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project. Read the 2017 CDP report.
