The newest release of Ericsson's Convergent Billing product is mainly focused on monitoring customer’s bad debt and enabling automatically a flexible handling of the debt collections process through configurable workflows. All this in the context of enabling commercial product catalog integrations, enhancing business models like MVNO/MVNE and multi-tenancy ones and improving total cost of ownership. This BSCS release is also built around a dynamic workflow management system which allows CSPs not only to monitor customer’s bad debt, but also enables the automatic and very flexible handling of the debt collections process through configurable workflows.
This release is intended for the replacement of legacy billing systems consolidating the technologically disparate existing billing solution into a convergent one offering advanced capabilities in the area of rating, billing and customer care. This new release is addressed to existing BSCS customers as well as for any type of communications service provider (CSP), mobile, fixed, broadband and TV who wishes to upgrade their billing capabilities for the Networked Society.
