Ericsson Managed Enterprise Wi-Fi (MEW) is a pre-defined Wireless Access solution, using Cisco software and hardware components, for large enterprises that want to have an advanced, user-centric global solution as a managed service with ease of ownership and fast time-to-market. The solution is offered in close partnership with Cisco.
The partnership with Cisco allows both companies to combine their global service capabilities such as Consulting, Supply, Field Services, Integration, Support, Managed Operations across IT and Networks and provide world-wide, service cover.
The service scope includes designing, building, operating and optimizing the Wi-Fi infrastructure across the agreed locations. Once operational, the solution is managed and monitored by Ericsson remotely from one of our Network Operating Centers (NOC). The NOC and support teams are responsible for incident resolution, root cause analysis, operations management and operation performance metrics.
The MEW solution provides fully managed, ubiquitous data and voice connectivity for employees, wireless Internet access for guests, and connectivity for Internet of Things devices. Regardless of their location within the organization, on large campuses or at remote sites, wireless users have the same experience when connecting to voice, video and data services.
