Leadership

Albert Kim, Ph.D.
Head of Ericsson Ventures
Vice President
Albert is a seasoned Venture Capitalist with over a decade and a half of experience. Prior to Ericsson, Albert was a Managing Director at Investor Growth Capital – the late stage VC arm of Investor AB. He is also an applied physicist with over 10 peer reviewed journal publications.
Albert earned his Diploma degree at the RWTH Aachen in Germany, and a Ph.D. in applied physics at Harvard University.

Graham Ackerman
Vice President
Previously, Graham oversaw corporate development including venture investing, mergers, and acquisitions, as well as capital markets activities including investor relations for Telcordia Technologies. Graham's previous companies include AT&T Corp and Putnam, Hayes, & Bartlett, an economic and management consulting firm.
Graham earned his BA at the University of Chicago and MBA at Dartmouth.

Paul McNamara
Vice President
Paul is a software industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience. Prior to Ericsson, Paul served as Vice President of the force.com platform at Salesforce.com, SVP of Visual Systems at SGI and was one of the original 3 executive officers at Redhat.
Paul has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University.

Mark Weinberg
Vice President
Mark is a product and technology leader who was previously a General Manager and Partner at Microsoft. His 20+ years in digital media included roles in Xbox, Windows and TV Platforms.
Mark attended the University of Colorado and received a BA in Mathematics and an MS in Computer Science.

Asif Giga
Investment Director
Asif is the Investment Director at Ericsson Ventures. Previously, Asif helped establish the new venture efforts within Experian Ventures, and invested in the US for Singtel Innov8 Ventures in cybersecurity and enterprise investments. He also spent time with Data Collective Venture Capital focused on disruptive technologies.
Asif earned his BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, MMS from Duke University, and an MBA from The Wharton School.
