With estimates predicting that by 2014-2015 there will be more than 25 operators offering commercial LTE services in Latin America, real momentum is now beginning to take off in the region, with operators wanting to take advantage of the higher speeds, increased network capacity and more efficient spectrum use afforded by LTE. According to Informa Telecoms & Media, by 2014 there will be more than 14 million LTE subscriptions in the region, with Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Colombia taking the lead. Operators in the region are no longer debating if they will launch LTE, but are now focused on deciding when and, importantly, how to go to market with their new networks.
Consequently, 2012 will be a crucial year to put the business at the forefront of LTE developments in Latin America. Informa meticulously researched and heavy-weight agenda attracts all the Latin American operators and delivers a premium platform to access to the region’s LTE decision-makers.
