Last week, on April 25, was Girls in ICT Day. Thinking back to my pre-teen days, I was focused on making money and getting a job. The best-paying job I could get was a morning paper route.
Growing up in Boston, I always went with my family and friends to the Boston Marathon, every year. Sometimes it was spring weather, sometimes we were battling the cold, but we would always make it. This was the kick-off to spring and the summer.
On April 8, I participated in the Ericsson Response open house event at Ericsson’s headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden, a day where Ericsson Response volunteers demonstrated different technology solutions that could be applied in disaster-relief efforts to support the work of the humanitarian community.
