There was a heated moment today during NEST- The Networked Society Forum – when science and a social media advocate went head-to-head on the topic of teachers in education.
Sir Harry Kroto, a Nobel prize laureate in Chemistry, talked about the importance of scientific evidence in learning. He has interviewed 50 other Nobel Laureates, and says: “All but one of them says a teacher had a great influence on their lives.”
