Ericsson wins info world green 15 award

Ericsson has been recognized for its ability to make the global Hardware Support process more green, achieving substantial efficiencies in inventory handling and transportation as well as increasing reuse of equipment and ensuring an environmentally efficient treatment of the material once it reaches end of life. This is done by having good tools at hand which improves inventory visibility and helps in utilizing efficient transportation routes, taking into account distance, fuel, and emissions.

The annual InfoWorld Green 15 award, established in 2008, recognizes companies around the world that have embraced technology to drive project and develop products aimed at boosting energy efficiency, trimming waste or reducing the use or the production of harmful substances.
