TV Delivery Infrastructure
Ericsson’s TV Delivery Infrastructure solutions are used by major broadcasters and service providers throughout the world. Our expertise in the market has enabled us to help many of our customers as they have transitioned from analog to digital technology. Our record of innovation is second to none enabling Ericsson to lead the market with a series of world firsts including the first 4:2:2 compression solution and first MPEG-2 DSNG solution. Through a program of continual development we have maintained our market leadership with a product portfolio that boasts of many award-winning products such as the RX1290, the world’s first multi-format professional receiver and our EN8040 Voyager, the world’s first MPEG-4 DSNG.
Our system solutions are available with multiple interfaces including options for all the main telecommunication formats. Our satellite solutions are based on the latest DVB-S2 modulation scheme that when combined with our advanced video coding solutions enable the most efficient content distribution. For larger systems our suite of management products simplifies the configuration and control of our compression equipment, ensuring mission critical services remain on-air, offer advanced scheduling capability and deliver real-time health data to maximize system reliability.
