Ericsson Radio Dot System

The Ericsson Radio Dot System will remove indoor bottlenecks by providing coverage to different kinds of users in medium to large indoor locations. The system uses an innovative antenna element – a radio dot – which enables high performance mobile broadband.

Customer situation

Current indoor wireless solutions will not enable operators to address the broad range of buildings and venues that they are targeting as they seek to grow their current mobile business and expand in enterprise.

The Ericsson Radio Dot System enables mobile operators to deliver consistently high performance voice and data coverage and capacity in the broadest range of enterprise buildings and public venues, including the underserved, high growth, medium-to-large building and venue category.

Our offering

The visible element of the Radio Dot System, the Radio Dot itself has a striking, minimalist design that will be welcome in any indoor environment, and it weighs only 300 grams or about 10 ounces.

With the Radio Dot System, Ericsson is redefining the concept of indoor small cells with the industry’s most cost-effective and modular high performance indoor radio system, enabling operators to address a wide range of in-building environments with a common solution.  This has clear operational benefits for the operator but is also important to CIOs, IT Managers and building owners and managers who may be responsible for multi-location businesses and campuses where individual buildings can vary greatly in size and user traffic

The innovative Ericsson Radio Dot System features an elegant design, both in the product and the network architecture, enabling a simple deployment that is 100% integrated with the outdoor network.
