Bina Chaurasia
Senior Vice President and Head of Group Function Human Resources
Bina Chaurasia became Senior Vice President and Head of Group Function Human Resources at Ericsson on November 15, 2010.
Chaurasia has experience across a variety of industries, including IT and retail. She joined Ericsson after working for three years at Hewlett-Packard, where she was Vice President of Global Talent with responsibility for talent management, learning and development, executive development, diversity and staffing.
Previously, she was Vice President of Global Human Resources at Gap. She was responsible for driving HR strategy for the company and leading international and corporate HR, the company’s worldwide supply chain, and its outlet and online divisions. Chaurasia has also held senior HR leadership roles at PepsiCo-Yum! and at Sun Microsystems.
Born in India, Chaurasia was educated in the United States and holds a Master of Science in Management and Human Resources from Ohio State University and a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin.
