Mobile Broadband

Mobile Broadband

Mobile broadband provides high-speed connectivity over the mobile network through a variety of devices, including smartphones, personal computers, feature phones, tablets, and dongles. Ericsson provides several kinds of technologies for mobile broadband, including GPRS, HSPA, LTE, LTE-Advanced.

Heterogeneous Network

Ericsson's complete portfolio of multi-standard RBS products can be deployed together in heterogenous networks in order to increase network capacity in places where traffic is high – like in big cities. This is what Ericsson's approach looks like, first building on the macro base, then densify macro, then introduce Pico and Wi-Fi solutions.
