Ericsson signs broadband access contract with B2 Bredbandsbolaget

The roll-out of high performance ADSL2plus offerings complements B2's existing network with a powerful DSL offering and will enable new types of broadband services for residential and business users.
"Ericsson's leadership in Ethernet based DSL solutions allows us to leverage our deployed Metro Ethernet network and add high performance ADSL2plus capabilities," said Nils-Petter Tetlie, COO at B2. "The Ethernet DSL Access platform provides us with a solution that is optimized for an Ethernet based architecture and which has the features and capabilities that make it easy to integrate into our existing network in a unique way."
"We are very pleased to have qualified as a key supplier to B2 by meeting their advanced solution requirements," said Peter Linder, Technical Director for Wireline Networks at Ericsson. With 5 years of experience with deployment of Ethernet based Broadband services, B2 is a global reference for the transition to high performance broadband access based on Ethernet technology."
