A heavy reading study about 5G core security

In collaboration with Heavy Reading a 5G Core security study has been designed to provide granular insight into the scope of the security implications associated with shifting to the 5G Standalone (SA) architecture. Deployed in 3Q20, this study utilized 32 questions and attracted 115 global survey respondents who worked for a cross-section of carriers of various sizes.

This white paper presents a subset of several key data points from the study addressing the 5G SA core adoption timeline and the security attributes that CSPs must consider in formulating effective security strategies.
