Closing the loop: CSPs aim to automate service orchestration and assurance

Communications service providers (CSPs) are moving closer to 5G standalone (5G SA) networks, with the goal of providing network slices commercially. The aim is to achieve fully automated end-to-end service operations, and with that comes a growing focus on closing the loop around service orchestration and assurance. This report examines how CSPs are now approaching service design, fulfillment, orchestration and assurance as a consolidated transformational element. It also explores the evolution of the IT ecosystem needed for intent-based operations.
