Akbar Ali

Akbar works as an Improvement & Performance Director within the Networks organization at Ericsson and served as co-chair for the GenNext Employee Resource group from 2019-2021 and still plays an active role in supporting the GenNext mission. Akbar joined Ericsson after completing his Master’s in Engineering Management from Dartmouth College and played several roles across the company including sales, strategy, partnerships and operational excellence over the last 10 years. Akbar’s passion for GenNext stems from wanting to give back the support he was fortunate to have during his initial years at Ericsson and creating a lasting impact that would support early career professionals in their growth.
