      Christophe Van de Weyer is Head of Business Area Global Communications Platform and CEO of Vonage, since August 15, 2026. Vonage is Ericsson’s single largest acquisition. Ericsson and Vonage are at the forefront of network-powered solutions combining AI, data, and APIs to transform enterprise workflows and deliver superior customer engagement.

      Prior to his current position, Van de Weyer served as President and Head of Business Unit API at Vonage. He led the company’s effort to leverage high-performance, programmable networks and advanced communication capabilities to accelerate the digital transformation of enterprises worldwide, with a particular focus on realizing profitable growth in Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) and Network APIs.

      Van de Weyer previously held positions as CEO of Telesign globally, a US-based subsidiary of Proximus Group, and several senior leadership positions at Proximus. Before joining Proximus, he spent nearly two decades at global management consulting firm Bain & Company, where he was a partner and held various leadership roles within the firm’s Telecommunications and Technology practice, working with the largest telcos globally.

      Van de Weyer completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business and holds a master’s degree in commercial engineering from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
