Previous positions: Chief Financial Officer at Getinge, Senior Vice President Group reporting, Tax & Control at AB Volvo. Prior to these roles held several senior leadership roles within the Scania Group including Vice President Financial Services, Head of Group Financial reporting and Head of Group Reporting and Control as well as Chief Financial Officer Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB.

Lars Sandström is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of Ericsson’s Executive Team.  

Since joining the company in April 2024, as Chief Financial Officer, Lars Sandström has been responsible for driving operational performance and growth and to building up a strong finance function that serves the organization and its stakeholders. 

Prior to Ericsson, Sandström held senior leadership positions at several large Swedish export companies, including Volvo, Scania, and Swedish Orphan Biovitrum and most recently as the CFO and member of the executive team at Getinge. 

Sandström’s decades of extensive experience from diverse industries, has given him broad insights into financial management in different organizational settings.  

Sandström holds a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Halmstad University, Sweden.
