Previously held several senior leadership roles within the Ericsson Group including Head of Customer Unit Verizon, Global Head of Radio Sales and Business Management, Head of Global Customer Unit Softbank, Key Account Manager Bezeq Group, Chief Technology Officer for Ericsson Israel. Prior to joining Ericsson, held positions in a telecommunication technology startup company and a mobile operator.   

Yossi Cohen leads the Market Area Americas, in serving Ericsson's customers in the United States, Canada and Latin America with industry-leading technology and services.

With a distinguished history at Ericsson, Cohen has held various executive leadership and technical positions within Ericsson's Business Area and Market Area organizations. Most recently, Cohen served as the Head of Market Area North America.

Prior to that Cohen was Head of Strategy, Technology, Marketing and Business Development of Ericsson North America (June 2020 – January 2024). In this role, he oversaw multiple C-level positions including the Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Chief Marketing Officer, in addition to managing the global hyper-scaler business and business development initiatives.

Cohen has also served as Head of Customer Unit Verizon (2016-2020), Global Head of Radio Sales and Business Management in Sweden (2015-2016), President of Ericsson Japan and Head of Global Customer Unit Softbank (2009-2015), and CTO for Ericsson Israel. Previous positions outside Ericsson included roles in telecommunications startups as well as a mobile operator.

Apart from his responsibilities at Ericsson, Cohen serves on the Board of CTIA. He also served as a Board Member for MediaKind Inc. from 2019 to 2024.

Cohen holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration from the University of West London and a Diploma in Electronic Technical Engineering from the Mosenson Elite Academy, Israel. He is also an alumni of the advanced executive program at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University.
