As part of our commitment to nurturing future talent, we invited six of our interns to reflect on their experience with us. From gaining confidence to creating real-world impact. Here are six things they believe make an Ericsson internship truly memorable:

1. A culture where you feel inspired and truly included

At Ericsson, our culture is grounded in four core values—Respect, Professionalism, Perseverance, and Integrity. They shape how we show up, collaborate, and support one another every day.

Snehal Jain, computer science graduate from Modi University of Science and Technology, Rajasthan, who is a support engineer intern at Ericsson says:

“The best part of my internship at Ericsson has been the culture. From day one, I felt truly welcomed and included. No one treated me like ‘just an intern.’ I had many questions, and instead of feeling hesitant, I found people who were patient, encouraging, and genuinely eager to help me learn.”

2. Learning that prepares you for what’s next

At Ericsson, we believe that when our people thrive, our business thrives too. That’s why learning here is not just an event — it’s a way of life. Every day brings opportunities to explore new ideas, take smart risks, and build the skills you need to reach your full potential.

Cheshta Gupta.

“Ericsson has been more than just an internship. It's been a journey of discovery, learning, and confidence-building. We have access to so many resources like degreed, tools, training, mentorship. It’s about building skills that will help us in the long run.”

3. A truly global place to learn, share, and belong

At Ericsson, we are a truly global team that values inclusion and humanity. We believe the best ideas come from diverse minds collaborating across borders, creating space for fresh thinking, deeper understanding, and stronger teamwork.

Nuha Murzuqha, a Machine Learning Ops intern and a student of Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai says:

“Working for a global company like Ericsson has been an eye-opening experience. It’s incredible to see how seamlessly teams, from every corner of the world, come together to innovate. 4. Make real time impact

Our interns don’t just shadow, they contribute. From day one, they are trusted with real responsibilities on real projects which shapes the future of connectivity. This hands-on experience allows them to see the direct impact of their work and feel like valued members of the team.

Prakriti Suman.

Prakriti Suman, a student of VIT, Bhopal, and data engineering intern at Ericsson shares:

“I built a data pipeline to help data scientists detect anomalies in network KPIs. It was a high-priority project, and we delivered it on time. Watching it go live and actually be used felt amazing.”

Reflecting on her journey, she adds:

“I’ve worked on exciting projects, explored Gen-AI, and learned so much along the way. Ericsson’s mission to empower an intelligent, sustainable, and connected world truly inspires me — I feel like I’m growing every single day.”

5. Where work matters and so does fun

At Ericsson, we believe that great work flows from a healthy balance of focus and fun. Teams often start the day by syncing on priorities, but there’s always room to unwind, connect, and recharge.

Khushal Kindra, an intern from VIT Chennai, and currently working in the machine learning ops department reflects that daily syncs help him stay organized, and short breaks keep him energized. He says:

“We discuss our agendas for the day. Sometimes, I go play table tennis with friends just to relax and blow off some steam before getting back to work. Ericsson also organizes a variety of events throughout the year which helps to keep energy high and network will people beyond your teams."
