Adriano Mendo

Adriano is a research specialist in network design and optimization, a member of the AI, Technology and Innovation team at Cognitive Network Solutions in BCSS. He is actively involved in research activities leading to innovative use cases related to network design optimization and AI. Additionally, he contributes to the development of Ericsson's patent portfolio with more than 20 patent applications filed, but also as an expert reviewer in the fields of radio access networks and AI. 

Adriano began his professional career in 2004, and has always been working in the paradigm of automated optimization of radio network parameters, from the time before SON (Self Organizing Networks) to the present, when AI has become a fundamental pillar in this topic. 

Adriano obtained a MSc in Telecommunications Engineering with a specialty in Communications from the University of Malaga. Outside of work, Adriano has a great passion for the mountains, he can easily be found there.
