Cryptology, cloud and platform security, computer science, HW/SW algorithms and architectures are among his interests.
Alexander holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University, Russia, and a Ph.D. in Cryptology from LTH, the faculty of engineering at Lund University, Sweden. His M.Sc. thesis focused on ASIC layout designing technologies for CMOS circuits, and the Ph.D. thesis was in the area of cryptanalysis of stream ciphers.
