Ali Khayrallah

Ali Khayrallah is Senior Technical Advisor with the Advanced Technology Group at Ericsson in Santa Clara, CA, USA. His current focus is on advancing 6G in the U.S. with industry, academia, and government. This includes setting up the NSF RINGS, FuSe, and FuSe2 partnerships, and serving on the ATIS Next G Alliance Research Council, and the FCC TAC 6G Working Group. He earlier contributed to the development of 5G, 4G, 3G, Bluetooth, mobile satellite, and more.
Ali was previously with Ericsson Research; in Santa Clara where he led a team shaping future wireless technology, and earlier in Research Triangle Park, NC, USA.
Before joining Ericsson, he was on the faculty of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Delaware, USA. He received a Ph.D. and an M.S. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, and a B.Eng. from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. He holds more than 100 patents and received the Ericsson Inventor of the Year award.
