Andrew Williams

Dr. Andrew Williams graduated with a PhD in Computational Physics from University College London, United Kingdom, using mathematical modelling techniques to investigate the stability of the atmospheres of gas giant exoplanets.

Since then he has gone on to work in fields related to efficient High Performance Computing, such as climate modelling and aerospace engineering, with a particular emphasis on efficient software performance and development.

He joined Ericsson Research in December 2019 as part of the Cloud Systems and Platforms research area and now has a particular focus on lightweight and distributed portable computing platforms in relation to emerging use cases.
