Arif Ahmed

Arif graduated in Computer Science & Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Silchar, India. He achieved his PhD in 2020 from the University of Rennes 1, France, on the topic of Efficient Cloud Application Deployment in Distributed Fog Infrastructures. He has been a visiting research student at the Northeastern University, Boston, USA. 

In June 2020, he joined Ericsson Research in Sweden to work on service enablement of edge cloud services, programmable network exposure, and energy efficiency of 5G core network. His own personal research interests include resource management in large scale distributed systems, programmable and cloudification of future networks, and sustainability of networks.
