Aurelian Bria

Aurelian is a long-time contributor to 3GPP in the area of Base Station RF requirements and associated conformance testing procedures. Starting with multi-standard radio requirements in 2009, he has had a leading role in the development and maintenance of the technical specifications. 

Aurelian holds a Ph.D. degree from 2009 in resource management for radio communication systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden and an M.Sc. from 1999 in electronics and telecommunications from Politehnica University, Bucharest, Romania. 

He joined Ericsson in 2008 as a delegate to 3GPP RAN WG4, and is still active in this position. Additionally, he is a rapporteur for the European Harmonised Standard and an active member of the American National Standard Committee C63.
