Bela Rathonyi

Bela Rathonyi currently works as Principal System Developer focusing on the Radio Access Network parts of Cellular IoT technologies. He joined Ericsson in 1995 where he has held various positions within R&D. For many years, he worked with the 3GPP-based network access functionality (2G/3G/4G) of mobile phones/platforms/chipsets, and since 2014 he has worked with radio base stations. In 2016, he was one of Ericsson’s 3GPP RAN2 standardization delegates developing the first releases of the Massive IoT technologies NB-IoT and LTE-M.
