Bo Göransson

Bo Göransson is the Senior Expert in Multi Antenna Systems & Architectures and is based in Stockholm, Sweden. 

He joined Ericsson Research in 1998 and was actively taking part in 3GPP, RAN1 standardization with focus on multi antenna functionality in 3G and 4G systems. He then moved to the R&D organization to take part in the development of 4G and 5G testbeds focusing on implementing different MIMO and beamforming schemes. 

Bo has a M.Sc. in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering from Linköping University, and a Ph.D. in array signal Processing from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. Since 2019 he is back at his alma mater KTH as an Adj. Professor in the area of multi antenna systems.
