Burak is a manager in ML/AI at GAIA AI Hub Sweden. In recent years, his focus has been automation of radio access network functions using reinforcement learning (RL), ML/RL Ops and on contributing to a set of ML/AI competence development programs at Ericsson.
Burak has over 20 years of academic and industry experience in statistical signal processing, estimation theory, sensor fusion and machine learning. He has held roles as technical coordinator, principal investigator, consultant, and researcher in a wide range of projects. He is the co-author of more than 30 peer reviewed international journal/conference papers.
Burak received his BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University, Turkey in 2003, 2006, and 2010, respectively. 2010 to 2012, he held a postdoctoral fellowship at Linköping University, Sweden in the Sensor Fusion/Automatic Control group.
