Chunhui Zhang

Chunhui is a delegate in working group 4 in 3GPP standardization. He contributes to the 3GPP feature development from the implementation perspective. His work focuses on evaluating the impact of features on the radio frequency requirements of base stations and user equipment and specifying the new radio frequency requirements for these features, from Release 15 to Release 18. The features include Cat-M/NB-IoT, IAB, and RedCap, NTN , Coverage enhancement and low power WUR.

He also works as a base station system engineer, focusing on the RBS control, interconnect (CPRI), timing and radio implementation aspects, and he drives early studies for base station features.

Chunhui joined Ericsson in 2006. He holds a PhD  from Brunel University, London, UK.
