Clara Gómez Blázquez

Dr. Clara Gómez graduated in Industrial Engineering at University Carlos III, Madrid, Spain, where she also achieved her PhD on the topic of semantic mapping for mobile robots in 2021. She was a visiting researcher at ETH Zurich in Switzerland, CTU Prague in Czech Republic and University of Bonn in Germany.

Clara has a background in robotics focusing specially on mobile robot navigation and mapping. In addition, she has developed projects in the topics of automation and myoelectric prosthetics.

In September 2021, she joined Ericsson Research in Sweden to work mainly on  on semantic robot mapping and offloading for object detection. Her own personal research interests include environment understanding and mapping, interoperable systems and sustainable AI.
