David Lindero (he/him) is a Master researcher in End User Service Quality, working at the Ericsson Research office in Luleå.

With 5G becoming accessible to industries and people, and with various forms of new services such as Cloud gaming and AR/XR on the rise, there is continued need to understand the end user experience in these new and more complex applications. David works to identify, evaluate, and model the many facets of these services. All this is needed to assess and predict how the end users experience change when being exposed to different network and context conditions.

During the last 15 years, David has been a driving contributer both to the standardization work done in ITU-T Study Group 12, but also to the world of academia via collaborations with Luleå University of Technology, Ilmenau University of Technology, and Blekinge Institute of Technology. Internally at Ericsson he is a end-user-evangelist, pushing the message that we have to focus more on the end user point of view to find out if our technology is successful when used in real life.
