Donald Staudte

Donald grew up in Australia and has a PhD from the Australian National University in Theoretical Physics. He moved to Sweden in 1993 and joined Ericsson in 1995. He has been a Strategic Product Manager since 2000 with multiple assignments, starting from the original 3G Radio Base Stations, including early Main-Remote and multi-standard products, the energy savings Psi-Coverage solution and upgrading legacy radios with support for new standards. Energy savings has been a common theme in his contributions over the last 15 years spanning over field deployments and measurements, authoring guidelines, driving energy savings solutions, setting Science Based targets and internal requirements and now targeting improved energy efficiency in the new multi-band radio platform.
