Eric Blomquist

Eric Blomquist is working as Director Strategy Execution in Ericsson Group Function Technology, based at the Ericsson Headquarters in Stockholm Kista, Sweden. His main area is Human Centered Innovation and Design and since he re-joined Ericsson in 2019 his focus has been on future use cases and Extended Reality (XR). He has since been driving XR input to the corporate technology strategy, coordinating initiatives across business areas and research as well as external ecosystem partners. He is also the driver of Ericsson Product Design Board, drives agendas for increased human centered ways of working and is an alumnus of ECP career acceleration program for E/// future leaders.

Before joining Ericsson, he was working at a startup developing products for non-intrusive advertisement in digital environments. His academic background is from KTH Royal Institute of Technology where he studied Computer Science and Human-Computer Interaction.

As Director Strategy Execution, Eric is driven by identifying the key value creation areas for customers and end-users. In a context where conversation often ends up on technical details, he strives to put the stakeholder’s outcome in the center and make sure Ericsson can deliver the best solutions for the identified needs.
