Fabián Monge Muñoz

Fabián Monge Muñoz currently holds the position of Acting President of Ericsson for LATAM and the Caribbean based in Mexico City. Additionally, he is the General Manager of the Ericsson Mexico Legal Entity.

Fabián has held executive and management positions in various business segments and geographies in Latin America. Most recently, he was Vice President and General Manager for various Central American legal entities such as Costa Rica for over 4 years, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Honduras. In all these countries, he has been a member of the Ericsson board of directors.

Other positions they held within Ericsson include the position of CTO (Chief Technical Officer) for LATAM and the Caribbean, Director of Commercial Management for LATAM and the Caribbean and other regional key account management positions in Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Central America. He has experience in Business Development and Strategy within the LATAM region.

Before joining Ericsson, Fabián was active in technology companies such as IBM and in financial entities such as BAC San José and Banco Nacional de Costa Rica.

Fabián has a master’s degree in business administration, specializing in ICT, digital transformation. Specializations in wireless systems, and a bachelor's degree.

Fabian is a Costa Rican citizen with permanent residence of the United Mexican States.

He is married and has three children.
