Francesca Palombini is a Senior Researcher focusing on IoT security at Ericsson Research.
Francesca joined Ericsson Research in 2015 and her current focus is defining and standardizing security protocols for IoT in the IETF. She is the working group chair for IETF CBOR and is part of the IETF Internet of Things Directorate (iotdir).
Francesca has a background in embedded systems and software. She holds a Master of Science in Information and Communication Technology engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden, and a Master of Science in Embedded Systems and Software from Grenoble INP – ENSIMAG, Grenoble, France.
