Gábor Kovács

Gábor joined Ericsson in 2010 and worked on various product development projects, including development of time synchronization in Ericsson microwave products and later timing and synchronization distribution within Transport networks. Currently he is working as Senior Specialist for Synchronization Solutions and responsible for synchronization feature development across the Ericsson Transport portfolio. Gábor works closely with 5G RAN teams, actively contributes to various synchronization standards, and holds a number of patents on various synchronization solutions.

Gábor received a MSc in electrical engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary) and a PhD in electrical engineering from Drexel University, Philadelphia (US).
