      Before joining Ericsson in 2012, he received his B.E. in electrical engineering and communications (2007) and M.Sc. in engineering science (2009) from ITESM-CEM, Mexico. After a doctoral stay (2011) at Aalto University, Finland, in 2012, he received a Ph.D. degree in signal theory and communications from the Polytechnic University of Catalunya (UPC), Spain.

      He currently works at Ericsson with the physical layer and procedures of IoT and 5G-NR for both terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks.
