Giulio Bottari

Giulio is the Innovation Manager of the EU Horizon 2020 project 5G Transformer. He has been the Ericsson Research representative in the “5G for Italy” program which developed the first 5G manufacturing area in Italy, operating in the Comau (FCA) plant in Turin in June 2018.

Giulio is the author of 80 patents and several articles in IEEE publications. He also writes for the Italian digital magazines Internet4Things and Industry4Business and co-authored the “5G Italy Book 2019” illustrating 5G status in Italy. He holds a Master’s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy.
