Hemant is a highly-regarded professional with strong expertise in 5G, Cloud and Networks technology, with an in-depth understanding of Core, Access Networks as well as emerging technology trends in Network Slicing, Edge Computing and Exposure capabilities that support Next Generation Digital networks catering to service aligned 5G use cases. He leads the 5G and Core & Cloud Networks sub-practices supporting all market areas in terms of asset creation/industrialization as well as telco service provider network evolution strategy formulation activities as part of major transformation initiatives.
Hemant’s career spans 19+ years of ICT experience including roles in both telecom operator and vendor environment. During this, Hemant has formulated numerous business cases and architecture evolution plans in-line with emerging capabilities and trends. Hemant is focusing on how telco industry needs to reinvent and adapt business and technology architecture models from IT industry in order to ensure accurate capex investments for reduced opex alongside providing a futuristic framework that transitions well into principles of Open Architecture, Cloud-native, Programmable Networks, with Distributed Cloud and Autonomic-Closed Loop-Hybrid Operations that support evolution to Industry 4.0
Hemant received an MBA from UT Austin’s McCombs School of Business and Graduate degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Saurashtra University in India.
