Hyame Assem Alameddine

Dr. Hyame Alameddine is also an affiliated assistant professor at Concordia University, Canada. 

Before joining Ericsson, she served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cheriton School of Computer Science, University of Waterloo, Canada, between 2019 and 2020. She received her Ph.D. degree in Information and Systems Engineering from Concordia University, Canada in 2019. 

Dr. Alameddine’s current research interests include cybersecurity, 5G networks, anomaly detection, attack mitigation, network slicing, ML/AI, edge computing, network management, Network Function Virtualization and Internet of Things. She serves as a technical program committee member and a member of the organizing committees at multiple international conferences and is a reviewer for various journals and magazines.
