Isil Yalcin

Isil Yalcin is the Vice President and Head of Ericsson Turkey within Market Area Middle East and Africa. Isil has assumed this role in February 2019. Prior to her current role, Isil was the Head of Network Products for Ericsson Middle East and Africa.

Isil has an experience of over 25 years in the Information and Communications Technology sector. She joined Ericsson back in and has proven track records throughout her career as she held a number of executive positions within the Ericsson organization spanning across different markets. In 2012 she was appointed as Head for the North East Africa Unit, overseeing the company’s activities in Egypt, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Somalia, South and North Sudan. She also held other key positions within the organization including VP, Head of Radio Access Network (RAN) for the Middle East and Africa region, VP of Networks in Turkey & Palestine as well as Core Network Rollout Manager.

Isil holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and Masters of Science in Telecommunication Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. She is fluent in English, Bulgarian, Turkish and Russian.
