János Farkas

Dr. János Farkas is a Principal Researcher in the area of deterministic networking. He is active in the standardization of deterministic networking technologies, for which he received the IEEE Standards Association Medallion. He is the Chair of the IEEE 802.1 Time-Sensitive Networking Task Group, Co-Chair of the IETF Deterministic Networking Working Group, and has been an active contributor to various standards.

He holds Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary.
