Jared is a Senior Data Scientist at GAIA AI Hub Sweden. While at Ericsson, he has helped develop AI systems for network design and optimization that are now part of the company’s Cognitive Network Solutions product portfolio sold to customers world-wide.
His research interests are targeted at improving the trustworthiness and deployment feasibility of AI systems. To this end, he has supervised several MSc thesis student projects in the following fields: explainable AI, graph neural networks, model compression, and intent-based reinforcement learning.
Jared earned his BS in Physics at the University of Louisville, USA in 2014 and his PhD in astrophysics at the University of Victoria, Canada in 2019. He is the co-author of over 15 peer-reviewed academic journal articles.
