Joe Wilke

Joe Wilke started his career at Ericsson as a manager for system engineers in 1994 and is now Head of the Center of Excellence for industrial solutions. The Center of Excellence bundles products, services, experience and expertise to address opportunities in the context of 5G and industry digitalization. The center supports industry and enterprise customers through an integrated approach to networking solutions, such as standalone or hybrid private networks, dedicated networks, mobile broadband and IoT solutions, aiming at capturing emerging business opportunities. Innovations in cellular connectivity, artificial intelligence, automation are explored to constantly increase efficiency and quality.

Wilke has held positions in Germany, US (Silicon Valley) and Sweden. Joe studied economics at FernUniversität Hagen and electrical engineering at RWTH Aachen University.
