Joel's main field of research is AI and cloud management automatization.
He joined the Cloud Systems and Platforms area at Ericsson Research in 2018, after finalizing his master thesis there on the topic “Decentralized Machine Learning for autonomous ships in a distributed cloud environment".
Joel is currently pursuing his doctoral degree at the University of Vaasa, Finland, where his research focuses on AI, machine learning and cloud orchestration.
