John Power
Expert in Automation of Cloud-based Open RAN
John Power is a software engineer with 30 years’ experience at Ericsson. He has extensive experience in radio access network management and automation.
John’s current focus is on O-RAN standardization activities, where he serves as the Co-chair of the O-RAN Alliance “Non-Real-Time RAN Intelligent Controller and A1/R1 Interface work group (WG2)”. He has previously represented Ericsson in 3GPP standardization activities.
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the South East Technological University in Ireland.
